Seleção legend Rivelino has slammed Luiz Felipe Scolari"s side not for being “stylish" enough and says they are back to square one.

The World Cup winner claims that there is no direction to the Seleção and believes that the patience of the supporters is waning.

“Unfortunately, Brazil looked like a bunch of players running everywhere, without direction. It was crazy," the 67-year-old told Gazeta Esportiva.

“They showed will, but ran too much, and were doing it all wrong. Today, more than ever, the collective is very important. There"s no place for the outstanding player [to win a match alone] anymore. If the Seleção lacks a style, then it gets complicated.

“So far, I don"t know what the starting XI is, how they will play, or which tactics will be used. The Brazilian supporters" trust has reached its limit.

“What we want is a style. There"s no obligation to win every match, but they have to show quality football. We want them to be ready, playing and giving it all when things go bad. If they lose, but keep fighting, we will acknowledge that."Right now, we"re practically at square one."
