Dedé has taken legal action in Brazil’s Labor Justice in order to complete his transfer from Vasco to Cruzeiro.

Vasco received 5.5 million Euros for the defender, which they have already spent in order to clear some debts and pay wages.

The transfer has been blocked by the National Treasury until Vasco pay part of their Treasury debts.

Dedé’s agent Giuliano Aranda commented about the situation, he told press: “We have already filed a lawsuit, we took all the measures and we are waitint for our lawyer’s response.”

Rio de Janeiro FA president Rubens Lopes talked believes the situation will be solved eventually, he told Rádio Brasil: “There is a judicial decision preventing Dedé from moving to any other club.”

“If Vasco owe money, no person should be prevented from working because of someone else’s debts. I think Vasco can solve this situation.”

Although Dedé’s transfer to Cruzeiro has not been completed yet, he played Brazil’s friendly against Chile yesterday.
