Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia has hailed the form of fellow team-mate Rafael and believes the right-back will be ‘one of the best’ before long.
Valencia praised the Brazilian and believes he has made a big improvement this season after securing the right-back position for his own.
Rafael has seized his chance in Sir Alex Ferguson’s side which seems destined for another title, after stretching their lead at the top of the table to 15 points.
“It’s incredible how much he’s improved. I’ve seen a big improvement in his level of concentration,” said the Ecuadorian winger.
“If he continues, it won’t be long before he’s one of the best right-backs in the world.”
Rafael’s twin brother, Fabio, is currently out on loan at QPR and it remains to be seen if the duo will be reunited in Manchester United’s defence next season.
