Josué’s contract with German team Wolfsburg has been terminated by mutual consent. The 33-year old midfielder had been playing in Germany since 2007, he played 164 games there.

Josué’s contract with German team Wolfsburg has been terminated by mutual consent. The 33-year old midfielder had been playing in Germany since 2007, he played 164 games there.
The German club’s official site announced that he is joining Atlético Mineiro in a two-year contract.
He told Wolfsburg’s site: “Of course I’m sad for leaving Wolfsburg, but this move is a big challenge for me. It was wonderful time at the club, with many good and bad moments. I wish the team all the best and I’m confident they will achieve a lot of success”.
Josué started his career at Goiás, but became famous at São Paulo, where he formed a very efficient defensive midfield pair with Mineiro.
The midfielder’s best season was in 2005, when São Paulo won Copa Libertadores and the Club World Cup.
