Rivaldo would like to coach Barcelona
Rivaldo is already studying his options for the time he retires, although he has not decided when exactly the retirement will happen.
The 40-year old player wants to become a manager and he believes his relationship with Barcelona could make the Spanish team the ideal place to start his managerial career.
Rivaldo told Esporte Interativo: "I could start at Barcelona, like many others have done, including Guardiola himself. My doors are open there."
The São Caetano midfielder believes his relationship with Barcelona's president Sandro Rosell would facilitate such an arrangement: "I know the club's president, we have a great friendship, he says thatif I need anything, I can count on him. My family and I have Spanish nationality and I can live there whenever I want. I like the city and the club a lot."
Rivaldo has some off the field experience, having previously worked as president of Mogi-Mirim.
