Shanghai Shenxin striker Kieza has confirmed that he will make his debut for his new club against city rivals Shanghai Shenhua this Sunday.

Kieza, who moved to Shenxin from Naútico late last month, missed his side’s opening day 5-1 defeat to defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande. However, he can be hopeful of a better result this time out.

Playing alongside fellow Brazilians Jailton Paraiba, Johnny and Antonio Flavio, he will take on a Shenhua side that enter the season low in confidence after a tumultuous off-season.

The free-scoring striker took to Instagram to inform of his upcoming debut and reveal his joy at life in the Far East.

He wrote: “I’m very happy with my new club and new life. I was welcomed and I will start with a classic on Sunday. God willing, everything will go right.”

The game will take place at 16.00 local time (8.00 GMT) on Sunday at the Yuanshen Stadium in Shanghai.
