Robinho: AC Milan must attack Barcelona

AC Milan forward Robinho says they must attack tonight's Champions League opponents Barcelona rather than defend their lead.

The Rossoneri have a two goal advantage from the first leg but Robinho believes they cannot lift their feet off the gas and need to grab more goals in the second leg.

"Barcelona have a great team, but anything can happen in football and beating Milan will not be easy for them," he told Cope.

"They will make life difficult for us, and I expect a difficult match. We are ready for the task at hand, though.

"I don't think that we should only try to defend our lead. We have plenty of quality and must attack and defend well. We should play our own game in possession and try to score."

Milan were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Champions League by Barcelona last season, and will be determined to make amends in tonight's game.
