Oswaldo de Oliveira hails Botafogo's Taça Guanabara win

Botafogo coach Oswaldo de Oliveira is delighted with his side's performance in the tournament and in the final itself after their Taça Guanabara win over Vasco da Gama.
A Clarence Seedorf inspired Botafogo claimed a closely fought 1-0 win over Vasco thanks to a late winner from right-back Lucas.
Oswaldo was in a jovial mood as he spoke to reporters during the celebrations and hailed the team's performance.
"The win is important, it gives us confidence. The development work we did has led us to this moment. There has to be that communion with the crowd, on and off the pitch. Today, the understanding of the fans with the team was perfect."
Oswaldo says that there was no relief in the win, only joy: "There was no room for relief, only happiness. People who choose to work in football, especially coaches, have to live with the pressure.
"We have to be assertive, so I congratulate all football coaches. I'm very happy, I always try to keep the balance, this is part of my job."
The coach also believes that their tournament run, in which they also defeated Flamengo, defines how tough it was for Botafogo.
"Flamengo and Vasco were very tough tasks. We required a lot of concentration, and some great participation from Botafogo fans."
