Internacional's Leandro Damião: The pitch was easy for me

Internacional striker Leandro Damião admitted that his prior experience of the rigours of the São Paulo floodplain aided him in his performance in the Taça Piratini win.
Damião plied his trade in the local area and says it was easy for him to adapt to the sodden conditions at São Luiz as Internacional strolled to a 5-0 victory.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Damião said: "You know I was born in the floodplain. This field was chump change."
The striker also revealed that fellow team-mate Rafael Moura had predicted that he would score in the final.
"Rafael Moura said I would score in this final," said Damião, who netted two fine strikes on the way to lifting the cup.
Internacional now have a place in the overall final, with Campeonato Gaúcho's second stage set to begin next weekend.
