Former America-RN striker Isac scored a debut goal in China on Sunday afternoon to help rescue a draw for his Changchun Yatai side against a Mazola-inspired Hangzhou Greentown.

On the opening weekend of the league season, Hangzhou took the lead in the first-half as Gao Di turned home the ball after a fine run from former São Paulo forward Mazola.

The hosts, coached by Japanese manager Takeshi Okada, dominated the game and should have extended their lead as Mazola slipped through recent signing Davy Angan who saw his shot well saved.

Angan would then hit the bar with a lofted effort over the keeper but the tide was about to turn as Changchun introduced 2012 Serie B top-scorer Zé Carlos into the attack.

The Brazilian forward, partnering the 2012 Serie B second top-scorer Isac in attack, almost made an immediate impact as he curled a free-kick narrowly wide.

It would be Isac who would punish Hangzhou for their profligacy, though, as the tall forward brought a loose ball under control in the area and turned to smash home an equaliser.

Both teams start with a point apiece as a Brazil-influenced opening Chinese Super League weekend comes to an end.
