Neymar on summer move: "If I feel the time is right, why not?"
Santos forward Neymar has said he could move to Europe this summer if he feels the time is right. However, he insisted that he should be allowed to make the decision on his own terms.
Neymar, 21, has once more been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent days with Brazil colleague Daniel Alves stating that a deal is already in place for the young star to join Barcelona.
That story, which made media headlines Europe-wide, was quickly followed by the suggestion that the forward could make a €100 million summer move to Barcelona in Catalan newspaper Sport.
While not denying that a move could happen, Neymar once more appeared frustrated as he dismissed the latest spate of transfer rumours.
“It's the talk of those who don't know my life,” Neymar said. “I have already said: if I feel the time is right or best, then why not? It's something for me, it's personal. No one else is part of this.
“What If I say that Messi is coming to Santos? He's a great friend and I appreciate what Daniel says but I'm happy here at Santos.”
