Bayern Munich's Luiz Gustavo: We cannot afford to underestimate Hoffenheim
Bayern Munich midfielder Luiz Gustavo insists his side cannot afford to take Bundesliga strugglers Hoffenheim this weekend.
The Bavarians comfortably sit atop of the league table by 17 points, whereas Hoffenheim are second bottom and battling against relegation.
However, Gustavo has warned that Bayern cannot afford to take the game lightly as his former club will be fighting for a win.
The Brazilian told the club's official website: "We're determined to win on Sunday; we want to pick up three points and we'll play our usual game there as well.
"We know Hoffenheim are in a difficult situation and, as a result, they'll fight because they're in desperate need of a win.
"We've got to be ready for it though, and maintain our style of play.
"I want to lift trophies here at Bayern, therefore I still want to win on Sunday."
Sunday’s encounter at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena is scheduled to kick-off at 14:30 BST.
