New York Red Bulls defender Digão has revealed that his brother Kaká is dreaming of leaving Real Madrid in favour of a move to the MLS.

The Brazilian has long been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, with former club AC Milan failing to re-sign him during the January transfer window due to financial reasons.

However, there has also been reported interest from the USA ever since his younger brother joined the Red Bulls last summer.

Digão told Goal.com: “It’s hard to say. Football changes very rapidly. It is a dream that he has, to come and play in the USA, and hopefully it will come true soon.

“I think he’s been very curious about football in the United States and New York and about my experience living here.

“I’ve been relaying good things to him. He’s expressed his interest in one day playing in the United States.”

The 27-year-old, who also played for the Rossoneri, is the man reputedly responsible for Kaká’s nickname, having failed to pronounce his full-name, Ricardo.
