Alexandre Pato: I imagined fans were in the stadium

Corinthians' Alexandre Pato says the empty stadium did not bother him as he imagined that the stands were full of cheering fans.
Pato netted the second goal of the evening as Corinthians won 2-0 over Millionarios and the striker was delighted with their performance.
"When I scored the goal I looked to the side and figured that we had fans in the stands, that was cool. Looked and I thought they were all there cheering," said Pato.
"It was good that I scored the goal and come out with the victory. It was my debut in Pacaembu, but it was very good.
"The goal and the game was good, but hopefully on Sunday we can enjoy the supporting crowd again. They gave us that extra bit we need on the pitch.
"I've played without fans in Italy once. This is not good and requires concentration. And that we had in the 90 minutes against Millonarios.
"We are pleased with what we are producing in the field. Everybody is working hard in training and wanting ownership. Corinthians is still good and will improve more, we can wait."
