Palmeiras loan midfielder Patrik to South Korean side Gangwon

Palmeiras midfielder Patrik has moved on loan to South Korean side Gangwon after agreeing terms with the club.

Patrik, 22, is set to be announced by his new club after his contract terms are finalised, and will join Gangwon until the end of the year.

The agreement includes an agreed fee, which is unknown as of yet, for the player’s purchase at the end of the contract.

Patrik, who has been transfer listed by Palmeiras after their relegation to Serie B, was training at their Academy of Football.

The player fell out of favour after the departure of Luiz Felipe Scolari and it seems his future now lies away from the club.

The youngster appeared 103 times and scored 12 goals and also was part of the squad that won the Brazil Cup last season.
