Luís Fabiano has dismissed speculation over his future at São Paulo as reports link his with a move to Russia.

The striker is reportedly the subject of interest from Russian giants Anzhi Mackhachkala but the player has stated his desire to fulfil his contract.

“I have not received anything, it was just speculation. I’ve had nothing concrete. I don’t want to leave São Paulo before the end of my contract, I think it’s impossible for me to leave.

“But two more years and I’ll consider my options then. I don’t know if I will continue at São Paulo or I will go abroad then,” he said.

São Paulo’s vice-president, João Paulo de Jesus Lopes, concurred with Fabiano, and reiterated the club’s position.

“They’ve been asking me about it since Sunday, about Osvaldo and Luís Fabiano’s future. But I’ve not received anything about it and I was not notified of any interest.

“Moreover, our position is very clear, we have no interest to sell our players.”
