Brazilian footballing great Zico believes that it could be PSG star Lucas Moura who has the biggest impact for Brazil at the 2014 World Cup, rather than Neymar.

Lucas, 20, moved to Paris in January and has won rave reviews on the other side of the Atlantic prompting many to speculate that he could play an important role for Brazil in 2014.

Zico, too, believes that Lucas could star at the event. With the former São Paulo forward not suffering the same pressure and weight of expectation as Neymar, he may be freed up to take on a more central role in the side.

“I really like Lucas and I think that he has everything to improve in Europe,” Zico told TV Globo. “He’s a balanced guy, he plays for goals and for the team. I think he could be an even bigger name than Neymar at the World Cup.”

The comments come following days of speculation regarding the future direction of Neymar, with Pelé suggesting that the young star choose Barcelona as his next home ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
