Internacional coach Dunga sees no favourite ahead of Sunday’s Gre-Nal
Internacional coach Dunga believes there are no favourites ahead of Sunday’s Gre-Nal derby in the Gáucho championship.
Dunga, who took charge of Inter last month, believes the game will be quite even despite the fact that Inter have trained all week and Grêmio had a tough away game at Fluminense in the Copa Libertadores.
“There is no favourite. In the past few years, both as Grêmio and Inter had the same teams, but now the times have changed. Both teams have changed.” he told reporters.
Dunga was quite open about his team selection, despite making the last training session before the game closed to the public, and admitted that both Ygor and Ronaldo Alves will start the game.
“Physically Ygor is ready. He trained for over 10 days. Although he may suffer the pace of play.
“He has his own characteristics and must fit best on the team. You do not need a lot of training. They know football.
“It's about positioning and pace, but it takes confidence. Gradually we go forward through working. We need to put it all in rhythm. Ronaldo is fine and will remain.”
