Kaká: I can shine for Real Madrid
Real Madrid midfielder Kaká says he is confident that he can prove to be a valuable asset for the Spanish giants this season.
The Brazil international has almost left the Santiago Bernabeu a number of times after being restricted to handful of appearances under José Mourinho.
However, the former AC Milan star, who almost returned to the Rossoneri in January, hopes that his hard work will pay off with regards to first-team football this season.
He told AS: "When I'm struggling, I can still dream about my successes. But, training as hard as I am doing, I can achieve my goal and shine for Real Madrid.
"I'm working hard for the team, for me and for the Real Madrid coach. I'm recovering sensations that seemed lost."
The 30-year-old started in Madrid’s 2-0 win over Rayo Vallecano over the weekend and will be looking to add to his nine appearances this season.
The Los Blancos are currently third in La Liga, four points behind Atlético Madrid and trailing leaders Barcelona by 16.
