Barcelona are reportedly readying a move in the summer for Valencia’s Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Alves.

Valencia are thought to be willing to put the Seleção keeper on the market and the Catalan giants have listed Alves as a possible target for the outgoing Victor Valdes.

Valdes announced his decision to leave the club earlier this season and the club, according to Spanish publication Sport, are moving to secure a replacement.

The paper claims that a deal could move ahead in the next few days if Barcelona decide to pursue the keeper.

The 27-year-old started out at Atlético Mineiro before moving to La Liga side Almeria where Spanish giants Valencia swooped for the keeper in 2011.

The Brazilian has made 49 appearances for Valencia as well as earning seven caps for Brazil, with an Olympic bronze medal to his name.
