FULL TIME: England 2-1 Brazil (Wembley Stadium)

Action Images

FULL TIME: England 2-1 Brazil (Rooney, Lampard; Fred)

90' - Lucas has had a lively last few minutes, but sees his spritely run come in vain as Fred's flick is to nobody.

90' - Three minutes added time...

90' - Lucas, Arouca and Fred all seek to find a way into the area, but the England defence is holding firm thus far.

87' - Neymar gets round the outside of Gary Cahill on the left, but Smalling gets across Fred to stop the ball reaching the striker.

85' - England win a corner on the left through James Milner. Taken short and wasted though.

83' - Brazil finally do create a chance as Oscar frees Lucas Moura with a backheel. Lucas picks out Fred, but the ball gets stuck under the striker's feet at the edge of the area.

81' - England look in no danger at all with 10 minutes left. Brazil short of ideas.

79' - Neymar links well with Lucas Moura, but can't quite pick out the PSG player with his return ball.

78' - Julio Cesar is now Brazil captain as David Luiz is taken off to be replaced by Miranda.

77' - Dante has had a good game tonight, in testing circumstances. Felipão wlll be pleased with his showing.

75' - Theo Walcott is replaced by Aaron Lennon on the England right wing.

74' - Brazil keeping possession well, but not pushing out of their own half. England keeping them back so far.

72' - England dealing very comfortably with Brazil's attacks once more now. At the other end, they are linking well in attack also.

70' - Rooney looks to pick out James Milner at the far post, but his cross is just too high for the Manchester City player.

69' - Filipe Luis replaces Adriano for Brazil at left-back.

68' - Neymar attempts an overhead kick from outside the area, but the ball flies high and wide.

66' - Daniel Alves looks to pick out Lucas Moura ahead of him, but his long, lofted ball heads straight into the arms of Joe Hart.

64' - I don't know what happened to Theo Walcott at half-time, but he's absolutely destroyed Adriano this half. The Barcelona man can't get near him.

62' - Jean replaces Paulinho, while James Milner is on for Welbeck.

60' GOAL England 2-1 Brazil (Frank Lampard) - Walcott beats Adriano once more and Dante clears. Arouca, though, loses possession and Lampard finishes with a first-time shot.

58' - Walcott beats Adriano with easr on the right and fires a low cross across the six-yard box. Julio Cesar deals with the cross and Gerrard eventually fires over from 25 yards.

55' - David Luiz man handles Cahill in the area, but the English defender still manages to head at goal. Julio Cesar tips over.

53' - Scolari will be pleased with his side's reaction, but they must keep this up. A long time left to play.

51' - Brazil really hassling England now, with Oscar now central. Lampard the latest to concede possession.

50' - OFF THE BAR! Fred hits the bar after another mistake from Cahill. England are rattled.

48' - GOAL England 1-1 Brazil (Fred) - Gary Cahill gives the ball away to Lucas Moura and Fred coolly shoots home left-footed. Poor from the Chelsea man.

46' - Gerrard tests Júlio César from outside the area and his shot is well saved, but almost runs for Jack Wilshere on the rebound.

20.37 GMT: SECOND HALF...

20.35 GMT: Leighton Baines on for Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard on for Tom Cleverley. Lucas Moura, Arouca and Fred replace Ronaldinho, Luis Fabiano and Ramires for Brazil

20.30 GMT: Plenty for England to be pleased with, in midfield in particular. Not always an area they've done well.

20.27 GMT: It's only early season for some of the Brazilian team, but the likes of Luis Fabiano and Ronaldinho have been well off the pace.

20.20 GMT: HALF TIME - England 1-0 Brazil - A deserved lead for the hosts who have outplayed Brazil so far. Ronaldinho missed a penalty before Rooney scored from a Julio Cesar save.

45' - One minute of added time...

43' - Another save from Julio Cesar, this time to comfortably deny Walcott on the counter.

41' - Wayne Rooney drives a long shot wide of the goal as Jack Wilshere's run is halted by David Luiz.

39' - OFF THE LINE! Glen Johnson heads clear as Paulinho's flick looks to be heading in at the far post.

37' - Oscar, who has been excellent tonight, sets up Neymar with excellent play from the right, but Neymar misses a sitter.

35' - Big questions for Scolari so far. Júlio César and Dante have been excellent, while Ronaldinho and Luis Fabiano have been poor.

34' - Walcott will be very disappointed there. Rooney won the ball back in midfield to give the Arsenal man chance to burst forward, but he runs straight into David Luiz.

32' - England look to counter with Welbeck, but David Luiz steps in. The Chelsea man then loses the ball.

30' - Brazil look a bit rattled since the goal. They really need to settle down a bit.

28' - Another fine run from Wilshere, before he picks out Walcott. The Arsenal man skips past Dante, but can't find Rooney.

26' GOAL England 1-0 Brazil (Wayne Rooney) - Rooney tucks home the rebound as Julio Cesar denies Walcott after Wilshere's through ball.

25' - England are playing well here and Jack Wilshere is at the heart of everything they are doing. They've been very tidy.

23' - Ashley Cole, goalless in 100 appearances for his country, shoots over the bar from 20 yards.

22' - Welbeck has a half-chance for England, but lofts the ball over the bar from a narrow angle. Good build up from Rooney and Wilshere.

19' - SAVED! Hart gets down low to save from Ronaldinho and also from the rebound. Cleverley then gets in to deny Neymar.

18' - PENALTY! Wilshere has been penalised for a handball from a cross from Ronaldinho. A little harsh.

16' - Adriano has been dealing well with Walcott so far. Wilshere crunches into him as reward for for his efforts though.

14' - England are looking to cross from deep towards their strikers. Julio Cesar punches clear on this occasion.

12' - Oscar now goes for goal himself at the end of a long run from Neymar. Well over the bar. It was a chance, though.

10' - WHAT A SAVE! Júlio César at full stretch to flick Wayne Rooney's header over the bar. The whistle had gone for a push, but the QPR keeper wasn't to know that.

9' - Another good Brazilian defensive header. Gerrard almost picks out Walcott with a raking diagonal ball, but Adriano heads clear.

8' - Oscar, who looks to be tucked in on the right, almost picks out Luis Fabiano this time. Chris Smalling is in place to hold off the São Paulo striker, though.

6' - Again, Oscar almost picks out Neymar. Cahill once more gets back to disrupt the Santos man's progress.

5' - Brazil threaten with a lovely flowing counter attack, but Gary Cahill is quickly across to cut out Oscar's ball to Neymar.

3' - England win a corner as Walcott attacks following a loose Dante pass. Headed clear by Ramires.

2' - Wayne Rooney is almost in behind the Brazil defence, but David Luiz does well to head clear from Tom Cleverley's delightful diagonal ball.

1' - England in possession at the start then. Joe Hart brings gasps from the crowd with a Cruyff turn in his own area.

19.34 GMT: KICK-OFF!

19.32 GMT: A minutes silence to remember the victims of the Santa Maria fire, Bobby Moore and the Munich air disaster. Sadly, there are some idiots in the crowd this evening.

19.30 GMT: So many potential storylines tonight. From a Brazilian perspective, a chance to impress for so many of this starting eleven.

19.27 GMT: If you are a Twitter user, you can follow our reporter Callum Fox who is at Wembley this evening - @cjfox21

19.26 GMT: National Anthem time at Wembley. Brazil, as the visitors, are up first.

19.24 GMT: Ronaldinho is presented with a #100 shirt as he makes his 100th appearance for Brazil. Steven Gerrard receives a Golden Cap from the FA for the same honour.

19.22 GMT: Today is the return to managing Brazil of Luis Felipe Scolari. His last game - The 2002 World Cup final.

19.21 GMT: The teams are on their way out at Wembley. This game is so important for both sides' development. England v Brazil is always a cracking fixture, also.

Brazil: Julio Cesar; Dani Alves, Dante, David Luiz, Adriano; Paulinho, Ramires, Oscar, Ronaldinho; Neymar, Luis Fabiano.

England: Hart; Johnson, Smalling, Cahill, Cole; Gerrard, Cleverley, Wilshere, Walcott; Welbeck, Rooney.

19.15 GMT: Welcome to Sambafoot's live coverage of this evening's friendly game in London. Team news to follow shortly.
