Beşiktaş new signing Dentinho out for at least four weeks with hamstring injury
Beşiktaş will be without their new signing Dentinho for around 4-6 weeks after the forward picked up a hamstring injury against Karabükspor at the weekend.
Detinho, 24, moved to Turkey last month on loan from Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk after falling behind fellow Brazilians Luiz Adriano, Eduardo Silva and Willian under coach Mircea Lucescu.
Beşiktaş had been hopeful the injury was minor but following a scan they have found that it could be worse than first feared.
"Dentinho's MR scan results showed a tear in his right hamstring, it will take him at least 4-5 weeks to recover," said Beşiktaş club doctor İsmail Başöz.
Detinho started his career with Corinthians before moving to Shakhtar in 2011 for €7.5 million and has played 14 times for the Brazil Under 20 team, scoring 11 goals.
Beşiktaş currently sit third in the SüperLig with 32 points from 20 games, one point behind second placed Antalyaspor and five behind leaders Galatasaray, who added former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and Dutch International Wesley Sneijder to their squad during the January transfer window.
