Bordeaux defender Henrique is hoping that his side can have a good Europa League campaign, with the knock-out phase scheduled to begin this month.
The Ligue 1 club finished top of Group D after winning four of their six games against Newcastle United, Portuguese club Marítimo and Belgian side Club Brugge.
Bordeaux have now been pitted against Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kyiv in the round of 32, which kicks off on 14 February.
Henrique said: “February will be important for us with games every three days and difficult meetings.
“Hopefully we can go far in the Europa League and we believe in our chances.”
The first leg of the round will be in the Ukraine, with the return fixture set to be played on February 21 at Stade Chaban-Delmas.
