Coutinho delights at move to "great club" Liverpool

New Liverpool signing Philippe Coutinho has spoken of his excitement at joining the club, having completed an £8.5 million move on Wednesday.
Coutinho, 22, has found life difficult at inter Milan in recent years, struggling to earn himself a regular starting spot at the San Siro.
Now, taking the vacant No. 10 shirt, he has a chance to get his promising career back on track and is looking forward to the challenge.
"Liverpool is a great club with great players. We've always heard about Liverpool's history in Brazil," Coutinho told the club's official website. "They are the club that have been interested in me and that have showed this interest so I know they believe in me and my football.
"It's a club that fans are always supporting. It's a great club accustomed to victories and with a lot of good stories in football and I'm hoping to get here and add some more."
The young attacking midfielder also revealed that he had discussed a potential move to Anfield with fellow Brazilian and now teammate Lucas Leiva:
"I've been talking to him for some time and he said good things about Liverpool. He believes this might be a nice club for me and now it's happening."
