Inter have confirmed that there will be no move for Corinthians midfielder Paulinho in the current transfer window.

Club president Massimo Moratti revealed that the club are postponing a move for the midfielder, who is reportedly valued at €15m.

Moratti told journalists: “This is a transfer that is not possible to do now. I think it will be easier to do next June.

“It’s not an economic problem, but it’s related to the player’s commitment to Corinthians.”

This was also confirmed by Corinthians’ director of football, Roberto de Andrade, last night.

Paulinho has stated in recent months that his future lies at Corinthians and it seems that the player has no desire to leave Brazil at this moment in time.

A move in the summer, however, has not been ruled out and other clubs could also return for the Brazilian with Manchester City and Chelsea keeping tabs on the player.
