Inter president admits club unlikely to sign Corinthians ace Paulinho this month
Inter Milan chief Massimo Moratti has admitted the club are unlikely to sign Corinthians ace Paulinho this month.
The Nerazzurri have been linked with a €15million move for the 24-year-old midfielder, who has long been linked with a move to the San Siro.
Moratti confirmed yesterday that Inter representatives were in Brazil to negotiate a deal with the Timão, however, the president has now conceded that a deal is more likely to be done during the summer.
He said: "That is an affair that could be easier in June than now.
"It is not a matter of money, but there are a lot of commitments for him in Brazil."
The Italian giants have sold Wesley Sneijder to Galatasaray this month and also agreed to sell Philippe Coutinho to Liverpool, which seemingly freed up space for the arrival of Paulinho.
However, Corinthians have recently stated that they had no offer on the table for the Seleção midfielder, who was strongly linked with Champions League winners Chelsea last year.
