Former Inter star Ivan Cordoba has revealed his admiration for Corinthians’ star midfielder Paulinho.
Corboda, who is now the club’s team manager, says Paulinho would be a great addition to the current side but warns that the player would have to prove himself at the San Siro.
“Paulinho is a modern, dynamic player who knows how to set the game. All the spotlight is on him, and this means that he has to prove something.”
But Cordoba admitted that there have been no moves for Paulinho just yet: “I think they are just ideas, I hope we get players who complete the team.”
Paulinho is the subject of interest from Inter as they look to bolster their midfield after the sale of Wesley Sneijder and the impending sale of Phillipe Coutinho to Liverpool.
Reports in Brazil suggest that Inter would have to pay €18m to prise the midfielder from Corinthians.
