Lyon's Bastos in talks with Schalke over move - report

Lyon winger Michel Bastos is in negotiations with Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 over a move according to reports.

Goal.com claims that the Brazil winger is in talks despite Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas denying the reports.

Schalke are reported to have offered €7m for the player who Lyon bought for a sum of €18m from French side Lille in 2009.

Both clubs have also denied that the player had passed a medical earlier this week but a deal could be close to completion.

Schalke are adding reinforcements to their squad in preparation for a renewed assault on the Champions League places this season.
