Tite has praised the abilities of reported Corinthians target Dede as the club looks to negotiate a deal for the defender.
Vasco are in dire straits and are know to be willing to offload their players, and Corinthians are reported to be in talks for Dede.
“Dede is a very good player. I don’t like to talk about transfer targets because the other team may not like me talking about someone who is playing at another club,” said the coach.
“Corinthians will always be open to top level athletes like Dede. Corinthians don’t need to consult me.
“I do not need to be a manager, I’m a football coach. He’s a good athlete and good for the Corinthians, he fits the project.”
