Metalist re-sign former star Jajá for €11 million
Ukranian Super League side Metalist have moved quickly to replace the recently departed Taison, returning former star Jajá to Kharkiv.
Jajá, 26, spent two years with the club between 2008-10, before moving on to Turkish side Trabzonspor for a €4.2 million fee.
Most recently of Al-Ahli in Dubai, who he joined €4.5 million in June 2011, Jajá failed to settle in the the Middle East, spending the 2012 season on loan at Internacional in Brazil.
Now, though, having been thought to be heading on loan to Turkish side Kayserispor, he will rejoin his former club for a fee of approximately €11 million.
"I'm happy to be returning to Metalist," Jajá told the club's official website. "I feel like it hasn't been long since I was here for the first time.
"I have many friends at the club. I know Edmar, Fininho and all the other Brazilians and Argentines at the club. It will be a pleasure to play here once again."
