Neymar has revealed that there is no agreement in place between Santos and Barcelona for his transfer to the Catalan giants in the next two years.

The Santos star has dismissed reports of a pre-agreement between the two clubs and reaffirmed his commitment to the club.

In an interview with El Pais, Neymar scotched reports of a €40m fee and a penalty if Barcelona did not take up the deal.

“I have no agreement with Barcelona or anyone else,” said the 20-year-old Seleção star after winning the newspaper’s prestigious ‘King of South American Football’ award.

“The only thing I have signed is with Santos, and I’m happy. They’re a big club with whom I’m under contract until 2014.

“The most important thing is to be happy, and I’m with my family. My objective is to help Santos and Brazil, and the best will come with hard work.”

Neymar is contracted to Santos until 2014 and the player has insisted his aim is to stay in Brazil until after the 2014 World Cup.
