PSG’s Lucas Moura spoke of his delight at making an impact in his debut against Ajaccio despite only managing a goalless draw.

Lucas, 20, impressed throughout with his workrate and dribbling. Indeed, so hard did he work, that he was substituted with cramp with five minutes remaining.

The Brazilian admitted that he was disappointed at the result but promised supporters he is capable of even more.

“The stadium was packed and it was great to soak up that atmosphere,” said Lucas.

“I was really looking forward to experiencing this feeling in Europe. I am happy with what I did tonight at the game. I wish we had won, of course, but that’s football. You can’t always win.

“I will get more settled and more adapted to the team and that will only be positive for me. I’ll work hard.

“I promise to PSG supporters and lot of fighting spirit and lot of desire. I will work hard to always be at my best.”
