Paris Saint-Germain forward Lucas Moura is feeling confident ahead of his Ligue 1 debut this weekend against Ajaccio.
Lucas, 20, who completed his move to the French giants at the beginning of January, is yet to make his first official appearance for Carlo Ancelotti but is feeling good ahead of the game.
“I’m feeling pretty good physically and technically,” he told Lancenet!
“The rapport with the team will happen gradually. They will know my game over time and, therefore, my responsibility will increase.
“I am anxious. I’ve been in the stadium, and it is very beautiful. I want to feel the warmth of the fans. I hope everything goes well.”
And the player also explained why he has chosen to wear the number 29 with his new club.
“It was a curious fact. Of the numbers available I always liked to mix numbers and math. So I went for 29, as backwards it gives 92, the year I was born. And 9 minus 2 gives 7, number I like.
“I hope I get lucky, and I had 37 and 7 in Sao Paulo, which undoubtedly influenced my story.”
