Lucas Moura is expected to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut against Ajaccio on Friday and coach Carlo Ancelotti has already decided where the Brazilian will fit into his team.

The 20-year-old moved to the Parc des Princes this month after the club agreed a reported €35 million fee with São Paulo in August.

Lucas has only had a few weeks off since the end of the Brazilian season in December and has therefore been spared PSG’s Coupe de France clash with Arras this evening.

Ancelotti said: “Some players aren’t ready to play. For example, Lucas has had only three days of preparation and is not ready.”

The former Chelsea coach also described how exactly he plans to use the Seleção star, who can play in a number of attacking positions.

“He’s fast, intelligent and plays it simple. This experience in Europe will permit him to become a fantastic player,” he continued.

“He’s used to playing wide but I think he can play in any of the attacking positions. To start with I will play him wide so as not to put him under too much pressure.”
