Paris St-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti is excited about the prospect of adding new signing Lucas Moura to his team but has revealed he will not take part in the Coupe de France tie against Arras on Sunday.

Lucas, 20, has impressed in his first few training sessions for his new club since his €45 million move from São Paulo and Ancelotti is looking forward to seeing him in action.

“He’s only 20 and is already in good condition,” the former Chelsea manager told L’Equipe.

“He is very fast and will be a fantastic player for us. He can play in all positions of the offensive area.”

Lucas will be competing with Argentine forwards Javier Pastore and Ezequiel Lavezzi, as well as French star Jérémy Ménez for a place alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Ancelotti’s side.

By missing the Arass cup match this weekend it is most likely that Lucas will make his debut next weekend against Ajaccio.
