Edmílson advises new PSG signing Lucas Moura to be wary of Ibrahimovic
Former Barcelona and Lyon defender Edmílson has warned Lucas Moura of his new Paris St-Germain teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic and has told the forward he needs to be “smart” with the Swedish striker.
Edmílson, 36, who retired from the game after a spell with Ceará Sporting Club in 2011, took to social networking site Twitter to advise the young Brazilian.
He said: “Lucas needs to pay attention of this Swedish poser of a great player”.
The 36-year-old, who could play in either central defence or as a defensive midfielder, has not hid his dislike of Ibrahimovic in the past, most notably when the former Ajax player moved to Camp Nou in a swap deal with Samuel Eto'o back in 2009.
He said at the time: “I do not know if something happened between Eto'o and the board, but there is no way to compare the two players. You do not swap Eto'o for Ibrahimovic.”
