Paris St-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been impressed with his club’s new signing Lucas Moura and gave the young Brazilian some advice to adapting to life in Europe.

Lucas, 20, officially joined PSG on January 1st for a fee of around €45 million and has made an impression on his teammates in his first few training sessions at their winter training camp in Doha.

“I saw a fantastic player, very fast,” the Swedish star told L’Equipe.

“I had seen him when Sweden played against Brazil (Brazil won 3-0 in August 2012). His profile is very interesting, and he will help the other team.

And the former Barcelona and Inter star believes the biggest challenge Lucas will face is off the field in France.

“Lucas does not need me to adapt. He has the quality to win in Europe. The hardest thing will be to adapt to his new life off the field, to Paris.

“Lucas has to be patient, but I’m not worried about him. On the pitch, there will be no problem and everyone will try to help him.”
