Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport report that Roma will look to take future Chelsea signing Wallace on a two-year loan once he arrives in London later this year.

The transfer of Wallace, 18, was announced earlier this month, but with Spaniard César Azpilicueta and Serbian Branislav Ivanovic already firmly established in the Chelsea first-team squad, the possibility of a loan move had been mooted.

Chelsea are believed to be uncertain over the player’s eligibility for a work permit upon arrival in June and could be tempted by the idea of a long-term loan move at one of Italy’s biggest clubs.

Corriere report that Roma are also looking to scupper Juventus’ move for Botafogo defender Dória just as the Turin outfit had looked certain to seal a €9 million deal. The reports, though, are yet to be verified by any sources in the Brazilian media.

Both Wallace and Dória were named in the Brazil Under-20 squad announced on Sunday for January’s South American championship.
