PSG attacking midfielder Nenê has spoken of his desire to return to Brazilian football in 2013 and believes that a deal could be completed as soon as next week.

Nenê, 31, scored 35 league goals in his first two campaigns at PSG, but has fallen out of the first-team reckoning as Carlo Ancelotti"s side continue to spend big money in search of success.

With his contract expiring next summer, the midfielder believes he will be allowed to leave the Parc des Princes in January, with talk in Turkey of a move to Besiktas considered unlikely.

"I won"t be staying there," Nenê told South American media giant Terra. "My intention is to play in Brazil, it is clear in my head. I have spoken with [PSG Sporting Director] Leonardo and they have agreed to allow me to leave now.

"But, for now there is no resolution and I must return and train. I hope it is all resolved next week."

Santos have made two offers to the player, but both have thus far fallen short of Nenê"s wage demands. However, the Paulista side are hopeful of striking a deal for the player, who is also sought after by Flamengo.
