Man Utd target Alex Sandro committed to Porto
Manchester United target Alex Sandro has insisted that he is happy at FC Porto amidst speculation linking him to Old Trafford.
The leftback has been mooted as a replacement for the aging Patrice Evra but the player insists there is no truth in the reports.
"I had a good run of games and gained more confidence. I have done a good job at FC Porto, I like very much the city and the fans. At the moment, I only think of FC Porto."
Evra's successor has been a topic of debate with Brazilian youngster Fabio and Dutchman Alexander Buttner both waiting in the wings but the Frenchman has seen a revival in form as of late.
Goals against Newcastle and Swansea have been the icing on the cake for the defender after a run of good form but Sir Alex Ferguson is already considering the 31-year-old's future in the current setup.
