Manchester United target Alex Sandro has insisted that he is happy at FC Porto amidst speculation linking him to Old Trafford.
The leftback has been mooted as a replacement for the aging Patrice Evra but the player insists there is no truth in the reports.
“I had a good run of games and gained more confidence. I have done a good job at FC Porto, I like very much the city and the fans. At the moment, I only think of FC Porto.”
Evra’s successor has been a topic of debate with Brazilian youngster Fabio and Dutchman Alexander Buttner both waiting in the wings but the Frenchman has seen a revival in form as of late.
Goals against Newcastle and Swansea have been the icing on the cake for the defender after a run of good form but Sir Alex Ferguson is already considering the 31-year-old’s future in the current setup.
