Chelsea were in irresistible form on Sunday afternoon when they put eight goals past hapless Aston Villa, with four coming from the blues Brazilian stars David Luiz, Oscar and Ramires.

Paul Lambert’s side got off to the worst possible start at Stamford Bridge when Fernando Torres headed in César Azpilicueta cross after just three minutes.

David Luiz, who was playing in midfield, added the second after 29 minutes with a superb free kick and then just five minutes later Branislav Ivanovic made it 3-0 with a header after Villa keeper Brad Guzan had made a superb save.

However, it was in the second half that Chelsea decided to completely turn the screw. Frank Lampard made it 4-0 on 58 minutes and then in the 75th minute Ramires made it 5-0, starting an incredible 15 minute spell in which Oscar, on from the bench, Eden Hazard and Ramires once again all scored and another substitute, Lucas Piazón, missed a penalty.
