Milan owner wants either Pato or Robinho to stay
Milan President Silvio Berlusconi has admitted that he wants to keep either Robinho or Alexandre Pato during the January transfer window.
The Brazilian duo are unhappy in Italy and have been linked with winter moves back to their homeland.
Corinthians are in negotiations over a deal for Pato whilst Santos and Flamengo are among the clubs interested in Robinho’s services.
AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani is expected to fly out to Brazil on Sunday for negotiations with interested clubs.
However, the Rossoneri's owner has revealed he would like at least one of the Brazilians to stay.
"Efforts will be made to retain at least one of Pato and Robinho," Berlusconi told reporters outside the team's hotel in Rome ahead of their match in the capital tomorrow.
"But I understand their nostalgia to return home."
