Real Madrid coach José Mourinho does not believe Kaká will leave the Santiago Bernabeu during the upcoming January transfer window.

The 30-year old playmaker has been strongly linked with moves to Corinthians and New York Red Bulls recently.

However, the Portuguese coach has said it is unlikely the club will do anything during January and wants the former AC Milan forward to stay in the Spanish capital.

Mourinho said: “I don’t think we’ll do anything in January, and I don’t think Kaká will leave either.

“If he stays it’s good for the team.”

Los Blancos currently lie third in the Liga table after amassing 33 points from their opening 16 games.

Mourinho’s side travel to face fourth-placed Malaga on Saturday, who have recently received a fine and ban from UEFA.
