Liverpool’s Luca Leiva says that the Reds owe their fans a good performance against Fulham in their Premier League clash on Saturday.
Brendan Rodgers’ side are reeling from a shock 3-1 defeat at Anfield at the hands of Aston Villa and Lucas says they must improve in their next game as they host the Cottagers.
“We owe our fans a good performance against Fulham and hopefully the three points,” Lucas told the club’s official website.
“They deserve a good performance and the win because they have seen some difficult moments but they have always been there supporting us.
“It’s up to the team now to reward them with a good win.”
Lucas has recently returned to first team action after a lengthy layoff with a thigh injury.
