Gilmar Veloz, agent of AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato, has spoken enthusiastically about the prospect of his client making a return to Brazil with the two-time Club World Cup winners.

Pato, 23, is supposedly the subject of a €15 million offer from the Paulista giants and, although that is based on unofficial reports from Sky Sports Italia, it was confirmed on Wednesday by Milan CEO Adriano Galliani that the club had received an unspecified offer for the star.

With his time in Europe badly affected by injury, the former Internacional academy product is in danger of losing his place in the Brazil national side and, with the World Cup fast approaching, the thought of a move to the Brazilian giants is an attractive proposition.

“It has all the ingredients. Who wouldn’t want to play for Corinthians. They are are like Barcelona, Real Madrid and the world’s big clubs,” Veloz told Radio ESPN Estadão.

“Pato has great respect and fondness for Corinthians. It is not just now that he is a great admirer of the club, so we were watching the final of the Libertadores. He also has great respect for Tite. If there is a possibility, obviously we will look at it with care and respect.”
