Juventus are closely monitoring the situation of Udinese centre-back Danilo, according to Goal.com.

The Serie A champions are in the market for defensive reinforcements having parted company with Lúcio on Monday, and Brazilian Danilo reportedly tops their wishlist.

However, the 28-year-old has a contract with his current club until June 2016, and the Italian side are reluctant to sell him this winter.

Other reports suggest the Old Lady have already been talks with the Bianconeri for a loan deal in January, with the obligation to purchase half of his rights in the summer before purchasing him outright.

Danilo has developed into one of Udinese’s star players since joining the Zebrette in 2011, and Juve have scouted the defender on several occasions.

The former Palmeiras player has gone on to make 49 appearances for the Serie A club, contributing 4 goals.

Juve are also said to be interested in Rubin Kazan defender Salvatore Bocchetti.
