São Paulo coach Ney Franco hoping to sign another striker for next season
As Lucas Moura waves farewell to São Paulo it is now time for coach Ney Franco to link on how to replace the Paris St-Germain bound forward.
Lucas, 20, who scored in São Paulo's controversial Copa Sul-Americana victory on Wednesday, will join PSG on 29th December when he meets up at their winter training camp in Qatar and, while he will be a big miss to Franco's team, his departure will give the coach experiment with a new formation, one that may require a 'second' striker
"Lucas is a different guy, he gives more speed to the attack. But tactically, the 4-4-2, I can also play very well with a 'second' striker.
"The board is seeking a 'second' striker, but our group is strong."
The departure of Lucas will be slightly softened by the arrival of striker Aloísio, from relegated Figueirense, and right-winger Negueba, signed from Flamengo. The club are also in talks with Wallyson, of Cruzeiro, over a possible move to the Morumbi.
