FULL TIME: Corinthians 1-0 Chelsea

90′ Danilo appears to foul Azpilicueta on the right-flank in a good place for a free-kick. No foul given, though.

90′ Chelsea score but it’s disallowed for offside! Torres heads home but is rightfully flagged offside.

90′ Four minutes added time signalled.

90′ Centre-back Wallace replaces Emerson for Corinthians

89′ RED CARD (Gary Cahill) – The centre-back is sent-off for an incident with Emerson

87′ Cassio and Torres exchange angry words as the Spanish striker challenges the keeper for a ball. Nothing doing there.

86′ Juan Martin Martinez replaces Guerrero for Corinthians, Marin on for Hazard for Chelsea.

85′ Oh dear, Torres. The ball falls to the Spanish striker near the penalty spot and he strikes the ball straight at Cassio. So poor from the striker.

82′ Azpilicueta replaces Ivanovic at right-back for Chelsea.

80′ Chelsea apparently heading back to London in the morning, with a game ahead of them on Wednesday night in the UK. They have 10 minutes to find a goal and give themselves a chance of taking the trophy with them.

78′ Emerson is lucky not to go into the book there. Clatters Cahill on the touchline. Attendence announced at just shy of 70,000.

76′ Chelsea looking very ragged here as Alessandro bursts through a couple of challenges and into the area.

74 Torres rises high to wi a difficult header near the penalty spot, but the ball rolls narrowly wide.

73′ Oscar replaces Victor Moses for Chelsea.

72′ YELLOW CARD – David Luiz is booked as Emerson goes rolling. No real contact there.

71′ Chelsea are preparing the introduction of Oscar. Paulinho had a big role in that goal, by the way, but surprisingly opted not to shoot.

70′ GOAL Corinthians 1-0 Chelsea – Paulo Guerrero heads home after Cech’s save from Danilo’s shot loops up across the goal. Chelsea had three players on the goal-line, but not one challenging Guerrero.

68′ Victor Moses continues his topsy-turvy match with a moment that he’ll want to forget. An absolutely awful cross to the back post that Cassio claims.

66′ Paulo Andre almost makes a mess of dealing with Ivanovic’s cross. Corinthians eventually scramble the ball clear.

65′ Chelsea have a glaring opportunity to unleash Hazard on the left, but Mata’s through-ball is cut out by Alessandro.

64′ Guerrero holds the ball up well after holding off Cahill. He lays the ball off for Paulinho who smashes his shot narrowly wide.

63′ Corinthians have a corner after some fine work from Guerrero and Fabio Santos on the left-flank. Emerson to take.

61′ Torres takes a tumble after jumping above Chicão. He’ll be ok though.

60′ Corinthians waste an opportunity of delivering a free-kick in from the left. Ramires mops up the opportunity.

57′ Victor Moses penalised for climbing on the shoulders of Fabio Santos. Correct decision, but Chelsea are looking dangerous.

56′ YELLOW CARD – Jorge Henrique booked for breaking up a Chelsea counter with a cynical trip.

55′ Alessandro wipes out Hazard on the flank. He’s a lucky man, that’s the second time he has employed an off-the-ball bodycheck.

54′ Wonderful counter from Chelsea and Eden Hazard is in behind the defence but finds himself smothered by Cassio.

52′ David Luiz caught out of position for Chelsea, but this time he is bailed out by Ramires. Wonderful recovery from the former Cruzeiro man.

51′ Wonderful commitment from Corinthians’ defenders to rush out and smother Frank Lampard’s attempt at a shot.

50′ Corinthians striker Paulo Guerrero is struggling with the attention from David Luiz. Limping around a bit up front.

49′ Emerson, after diving in for a tackle himself, makes the most of a tackle from Ivanovic. A handful of rolls and gesticulations thrown in.

47′ Moses attacking Fabio Santos at left-back once more. This time he stands up a cross, but Paulo Andre heads clear.

46′ Corinthians get us back underway for the second-half.

11.31 GMT: Chelsea, then, reappear to a shower of boos and whistles from the Corinthians-dominated support. Timão yet to reappear.

10. 17 GMT: Interesting first-half where Corinthians’ game-plan is working well and they have carved themselves out a couple of excellent chances. Chelsea, though, would be ahead except for the magnificence of Cassio in the Corinthians’ goal.

HALF TIME: Corinthians 0-0 Chelsea

44′ David Luiz covers ground quickly in defence to intercept a through ball for Emerson. Very good defending.

43′ Corinthians have a corner from the right but it’s overhit. Emerson is then penalised for a crude tackle on Hazard, even though he took the ball.

41′ Mata is the latest Chelsea player to unleash a strike at goal. His 20-yard effort is straight at Cassio.

39′ Wonderful fingertip save from Cassio as Moses looks to curl a shot in the far corner. That is magnificent from the goalkeeper.

37′ Cassio makes another good save as Torres shoots after fashioning himself a good chance. The ‘keeper is having a good game so far.

34′ Wonderful strength and control from Guerreiro, but his shot is hooked across goal and Emerson hits the side netting with his attempt to follow up.

33′ Victor Moses gets in behind Fabio Santos once more, this time from a Hazard pass. He can’t get his shot away.

31′ The referee is on a mission to be lenient as Jorge Henrique flattens Ramires. Lucky man.

30′ Lampard is close to producing a perfect ball over Fabio Santos for Moses. The pass is just slightly overhit.

29′ Oh dear! Gary Cahill gifts Emerson a wonderful chance after failing to control Guerrero’s through-ball. Emerson’s shot, though, is atrocious. Has to hit the target.

27′ Lovely play from Cole and Hazard on the Chelsea left, but Torres is offside from the Englishman’s cross.

26′ Nothing much doing at the other end either where Guerrero throws himselg to the floor looking for a penalty. Not good from the Peruvian, that.

24′ Chelsea look to counter once Corinthians get caught upfield, but Corinthians are so quick to get back. Victor Moses’ shot comfortably blocked by Fabio Santos.

23′ Corinthians look to break with Emerson straight from the free-kick, but Luiz recovers quickly to deny the forward.

22′ David Luiz takes, but that is woeful. Straight into the bottom of the wall.

21′ Hazard fouled on the edge of the Corinthians area. Chance for a strike at goal.

20′ Paulinho unleashes a shot at goal from 25 yards. Comfortably over the bar.

18′ Jorge Henrique gets a shot away from range and it takes a deflection which causes the ball to dip, but it’s comfortable for Cech.

17′ Emerson Sheik is presented with a great chance to get a shot away but takes the ball too wide and is dealt with supremely by David Luiz.

16′ Debate on the BBC about whether David Luiz should be playing in midfield or defence. What do you think? Let us know – @chris_elastico

14′ Chelsea beginning to assert control on proceedings. Corinthians just soaking up the pressure.

12′ Ramires is the latest player to be fortunate at the hands of the referee. Could be booked for a tackle on Emerson.

11′ Off the line! Chelsea are twice denied on the line by Corinthians. First Torres’ header and then Cahill’s shot. Lucky Corinthians.

10′ Fábio Santos sneaks in to intercept a ball designed for Moses, but gives the ball away cheaply after bursting upfield.

9′ Lampard looks long for Victor Moses coming off the Chelsea right, but the ball runs through comfortably for Cassio.

8′ Corinthians players are swarming around Chelsea in defence. They are certainly putting everything into the game so far.

6′ David Luiz is the latest player to be left on the floor after robbing Emerson Sheik. Alessandro unceremoniously dumps him to the ground.

5′ Paulinho is almost presented with a glorious chance as Danilo sets him up in the area, but Hazard cuts in and steals the ball away.

4′ We have our first incident. Ralf is left rolling around after a supposed high-boot from Chelsea’s Frank Lampard. Nothing much in it.

3′ The game is yet to settle down, with possession changing hands frequently. High pressure in defence and a lot of bodies in midfield.

2′ The noise of the Corinthians fans is deafening. Approximately 20,000 in the stands according to estimates.

2′ Bright, but scrappy start in Japan. Both sides looking up for this one and there is a great pace to the game. Let’s hope this continues.
