Lazio's Hernanes not interested in contract extension amid Inter rumours - report
Hernanes is reportedly in no rush to sign a contract extension with Lazio as Serie A rivals Inter are interested in signing him.
Reports have suggested that the capital club want to tie down the Brazilian to a new long-term deal, even though his current deal expires in June 2015.
However, the player’s agent this week suggested that plans to renegotiate terms were non-existent amid rumours of interest from Italian giants Inter.
Joseph Lee said: "I have no meeting planned with Lazio regarding a renewal.
"Our agreement expires in 2015 and now is not the time to discuss an extension.
"Hernanes is happy in Rome, happy with his relationship with the coach and how the team are doing."
The Gazzetta dello Sport is suggesting that the Nerazzurri have shown an interest in signing the player, who cost Lazio around €12million, at the end of the season.
