Corinthians defender Paulo André has said that he expects Chelsea to be CF Monterrey tomorrow and reach the Fifa Club World Cup final.

André, 29, played the whole 90 minutes in Corinthians close 1-0 victory over Egyptian side Al-Ahly on Wednesday and revealed that it was an odd game to play in.

“I found the game odd, because the anxiety and pressure should be early in the game, but the emotional feeling was felt more the second half.

“They did not have many chances to score goals, but we have to assume more responsibility, so that when we have the ball at feet we can create more opportunities.”

And while the defender has no preference as to who they face in Sunday’s final, André expects to face the European champions.

“I have no preference, they are two great teams. I think the difficulty will be more if Chelsea passes, and will be a great final.”
